Camp Smokey

Camp Smokey LogoA 4 day camp set up in 1990 for past and present patients of the Paediatric Burns Unit at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital young burns survivors.

Since 1999, the APFF has assisted in the holding of this camp with the staff of the Paediatric Burns Unit adding a new dimension to the activities and interest of the camp for the children. The 2006 camp was the most successful so far with 50 children invited to attend, a vast improvement from the 12 children who went to the inaugural camp.

The 2009 Camp Smokey is being held at the Mylor Baptist Camp
